The boat was clean and well prepared. The Charter company staff were friendly and helpful. No problems except that the outboard they gave us for the tender was a four stroke and it had been filled with two-stroke mix so only ran for about 30 seconds before it choked. Irritating at the time, but we berthed in a marina each night so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. On the plus side, they arranged marina berths in advance for us and a taxi to take us to the airport at 4am. The coast of Malta isn't the best in terms of pretty coves to moor up in or quaint quay side restaurants and bars, but the Kalkara marina in Valetta is surrounded by historic fortifications and provides a very pleasant backdrop. Thank you

Boat was clean and everything worked
Would defenitely recommend them and would use them again

Une situation baroque

Nous avions un bon de commande et un contrat de location (signe en mars 2018) pour un Sun Odyssey 349 dénommé. TIDEL BAY .
Nous sommes arrivés vers 10 heures le samedi matin, et avons pu signer avec le loueur tout les documents concernant ce bateau.
Le bateau nous a été montré, il était au port, tout allait bien et il nous a été demandé de revenir vers 16 heures pour être emmené par le loueur en voiture faire notre avitaillement.
Première surprise il nous a été demandé 200 € en cash concernant des suppléments de location.
Les suppléments nous savions l'obligation de les payer, mais en liquide cela n'était évoqué nulle part.

Le loueur nous a ensuite accompagné à Malte où avons pu passer la fin de la matinée et le début d'après-midi,
Nous sommes revenus comme cela était prévu vers 16 heures et avons été accompagné pour faire nos courses.
En rentrant des courses il était environ 17h45-18 heures; heure où nous devions prendre nous devions prendre possession du bateau.
La un flottement s'est mis en place, il nous a été expliqué que le bateau n'était pas disponible, et qu'il nous en serait donné un autre mais qui ne serait disponible qu'à 20 heures.

Vous imaginez bien notre surprise alors que nous avions vu le bateau, et signé le contrat location de ce bateau.

Il nous a donc été proposé un Bavaria 36, sur lequel nous n'avions pas de remarque particulière mais nous n'avons pu monter à bord du bateau qu'après 20 heures et de ce fait ne pouvant faire le check in de nuit nous l'avons fait le dimanche matin à 10 heures,
Ce qui a évidemment amputé et retardé notre départ.

Par la suite nous n'avons pas eu de problème particulier, le bateau était en bon état, en dehors des voiles qui visiblement avaient beaucoup souffert.
Un gros coup de vent nous a cantonné pendant plus de 48 heures au mouillage à l'abri et nous avons pu rendre le bateau samedi entre 9 et 10 heures du matin comme il était prévu, malgré une panne de propulsion au moment où nous sommes rentrés dans le port de malte...
Tout s'est bien terminé
Vous comprendrez bien que donc que notre appréciation est pour le moins mitigée, ça n'est pas tant sur le bateau, mais plutôt sur le retard que cela induit que porte notre mécontentement.
