Toulon is a good place to start a sailing trip, to the west are the Calanques and Marseille. In case of Mistral, you can go east; the Mistral is less strong there. Toulon is easy to reach by train (TGV). The harbour is close to the station. A supermarket in walking distance.
The ship (Dufour 425) was delivered in a very good shape, clean and sails very well. With lazy jacks, setting and dropping the main is as easy as it gets and you have the advantage of a good main sail.
We got a good introduction to the ship and tips how to manoeuvre safely out and into the harbour. The service of the base manager was very good!
After the trip the owner contacted me if everything was alright and if there was something to do better. Where do you find this kind of customer service nowadays?

The boat was well-maintained (and also brand new), and the staff were easy to reach and very helpful. The online-based handover process is efficient. Overall I recommend the company and very much this boat too (Oceanis 35.1), it's well-sized, well-balanced, cozy and quick.

Une location tout à fait sympathique pour faire de la plaisance

Toulon / St Tropez et retour via Hyères, Port Cros, Bormes, St Tropez, Porquerolles et St Mandrier.

Plaisance version « La Croisière s’amuse » avec 2 novices en voile, de la famille, le bateau était parfait en terme d’autonomie notamment en eau pour la douche au sortir des baignades au mouillage les « midis ».

Je reste toutefois curieux quant à l’interdiction de naviguer de nuit même si cela ne m’a pas gêné cette fois-ci…

J’ai été ravie de la prestation,j’ai eu la chance de bénéficier gratuitement d’une nuit en plus de la part du loueur,le bateau était dans un état irréprochable propre toute fois il manquait deux trois petites choses comme des épingles à linges et quelques produits de nettoyage mais rien de très grave
Le skipper était parfait professionnel sympa et drôle
Grâce à vous nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances.
